Cérémonie de « Ndogou » offerte aux femmes de Khelcom

A l’occasion du mois béni de ramadan, la Centrale électrique de Bargny organise plusieurs actions sociales au profit des communautés riveraines. Le ramadan est un mois de prières, de pardon et de solidarité pour la communauté musulmane. La Centrale a offert à cet effet une cérémonie de rupture du jeun aux femmes transformatrices de poissons. Il s’est agi d’organiser une cérémonie au niveau du site des femmes pour leur offrir des boissons chaudes, des produits alimentaires ainsi que des bouteilles d’eaux fraîches. La CES a profité de la fête pour renouveler sa gratitude aux femmes de Khelcom, son intention à cohabiter de manière pacifique avec elles et son engagement à améliorer leurs conditions de travail. Les femmes qui ont massivement répondu présentes à la cérémonie ont beaucoup apprécié le geste de la Centrale et prié elle.

Breaking Fast with the Ladies of Khelcom

On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Bargny Power Station is organizing several social actions for the benefit of neighbouring communities. Ramadan is a month of prayers, forgiveness and solidarity for the Muslim community. For this purpose, the Centrale offered a break-up ceremony for women fish processors. It involved organizing a ceremony at the women’s site to offer hot drinks, food and bottles of fresh water. The ETUC took advantage of the celebration to renew its gratitude to the women of Khelcom, its intention to cohabit peacefully with them and its commitment to improve their working conditions. The women who massively attended the ceremony appreciated the gesture of the Centrale and prayed for it.
